Chalk and cheese compared to a e9x m3 . I have that little hoon bastard inside that needs feeding/ tempering, but I appear to have much more respect than you on what the m3 is capable of doing particularly with traction off. I am not surprised they are banned in some states and you are struggling to get insurance. I recall the 18 year old who got a new Ferrari in the morning and tragically he and the Ferrari didn't see it past the afternoon and both were incinerated right in the middle of Perth. A e9x m3 is easy power and easy to drive but easily leads you into a false sense of security in the hands of the inexperienced. Insurers consider you from a risk perspective in that car as having an extremely high risk of having an accident and making a claim. Hence bad business and a waste of time taking a few grand off you and having a high probabilty of having to payout multiples of that premium out in a claim you are likely to make based on their experience and statistical modelling before next years premium is due Last edited by BMWM3TS; 09-18-2020 at 09:27 AM.. |

Just wanted to add to this that I recently got a quote from Enthusiast Insurance at like $1200 for an agreed value of 60k. Im 38yrs living in Sydney. Hope that helps!
I am also curious if anyone is finding better quotes on at the moment as the last post was a few years old. n96 |
