Our friend and customer Ioannis’ Alpine White E90 M3 was the perfect platform upon which to showcase our new Sprint Line forged wheels. With a host of tasteful mods already applied, we were excited to have such a clean M3 to showcase these 19”s. Full Feature Thread Video Feature Photos VS-5RS EC-7RS Learn More / Feature Thread

Polished lips owners, is there any ceramic coatings to slow down the oxidation on the aluminum polished lips?

Here are some pics of set ups I've ran on my car last year:
-Oem 19" ZCP wheels with Michelin ps4s 255 and 275 tires -Arc-8 18x10 et 25 square (5mm spacer front, 12 rear) 275/35/18 Conti ECS tires -SM-10 19x10 et25, 19x11 et44 (same spacers as above) 265/35/19 and 305/30/19 Nankang AR1. Front tires were too tall and rubbed liner at full lock -TE37 SL 18x10 et 25 square (15mm front spacer 12mm rear) 275/35/18 Conti ECS I have to run at least a 5mm spacer on the front to clear spring perches on kw clubsports. Despite the 5mm spacer the paint on the spring rubbed off so i threw on some spare 15mm spacers i had, I'll probably replace them with some 10mm spacers eventually. so this is it? only about six different wheel designs for the m3? that's sad I mean nobody seems to have an individual basis in them. We went with our stock wheels powdercoated black due to the ones we wanted were $7500 USD! crazy expensive.

What’s sad? Five designs in this entire thread? I doubt it. There are other wheel manufacturers with similar designs AND completely different designs. However, if you haven’t realized this, you’re seeing similar wheel designs from different manufacturers because those are the most popular wheel styles. If you want something different then there are several forged wheel manufacturers that offer between 10-20, sometimes more, wheel designs but it’s not their fault that you think $7500 is “crazy expensive.” Actually, $7500 in reality is quite reasonable if it’s from a well-respected forged wheel manufacturer. Enjoy your non-f8x non-imaginative black powdercoated wheels. Also, is there a reason why you posted to a picture thread on e9x M3s on an e9x M3 forum?

Front: 19x8.5 ET32 BBS RG-R custom finished in Midnight Blue / Mag Blue Rear: 19x10 ET25 BBS RG-R custom finished in Midnight Blue / Mag Blue Custom Finished in Volk Racing Mag Blue as seen here (SORRY IT'S NOT AN M3!): https://www.e90post.com/forums/showp...77&postcount=3 If you google "midnight blue BBS RG-R" they are just about the only ones around would love to see them wind up on an e90 M3. Would look amazing on White, gray, silver, black, etc.

the fronts are less aggressive than stock non-ZCP 19s (220M), which are 19x8.5 ET29. it seems that on stock camber, an 18mm spacer is needed for those to be flush , so a 20mm would be needed for the same fitment on these (on stock camber/no plates). I think this amount of spacer would be concerning for some, but for reference, the M2 CSR runs 41mm spacers up front, albeit by design from the factory. the rears are the same fitment as stock ZCP 19s (359M), which are also 19x10 ET25. these are pretty easy to fit as they're the same fitment - 10mm spacers to be flush with 265/35/19 tires, likely less spacer if you wanted to run 275/35/19. no spacers would be fine too on this fitment tbh. just wanted to provide some input if you wanted to sell them as M3 fitment! edit: nvm goddamn this guy posted this everywhere including bumping a thread from 2010 lmao

As you pointed out, the BBS RGR offsets are not ideal for an e9x M. LOL I also noticed he’s bumped many old threads in general and technical forums, not the wheel-tire FS forum. OP - you might get more interest/exposure in the m3post.com wheel-tire FS forum, especially in the e90post.com wheel-tire FS forum. |
