Refreshed my interior trim.
Just wanted to share my little project.
I have a Jerez Black with black leather and brushed aluminum trim. I never felt the aluminum belt line really complimented the interior. I want to upgrade my steering wheel and I felt I needed to address the belt line first. I did not want carbon and I did like the brushed finished. I found a nice looking option from Vivid Vinyl (amazon) and I bought a spare interior trim kit on ebay, needed it to be wood for a smooth finish for better adhesion. I removed the vents and used 3M adhesion promoter around trouble areas to prevent lifting. Not bad at all. Different from the usual leather carbon and high gloss carbon fiber.

I agree the factory aluminum trim feels a bit dated.
