I didn't meant to quote your comment, I was just leaving a comment. Of course they won't pay 70k. No body in their right mind would pay that much for this particular car. 55k is the probably the most this car is worth.

I am a former e92 M3 owner. These cars sound excellent, look excellent, and handle great (especially with hydraulic power steering compared with most EPS systems today). But this car came out in 2008; which means it was engineered in 2004 or 2005. Almost 20 years old engine technology by now. |

SMH. Let me guess. Comparing to that one or two cars that someone stole on BaT or Cars and Bids? OP could trade this in for more then that! Regardless can’t compare a No Reserve auction to open market. I’d love to see ANY YEAR e92 m3, clean title, under 25,000 miles under $50,000……. I’ll wait

I don't think people gravitate towards older BMWs the same way they do for Porsche, and the purchase prices bear that out. |

I'm on my 5th e9x. I traded my 13 e92 M3 ZCP coupe for an i7 in February of this year. A month later I got the itch and bought another e92 because of the old technology NA high revving V8 engine. Maybe I'm not the norm but according to that statement an e30 M3 is old technology and should be priced around what $10,000? I truly believe these cars have bottomed out and low milage, desirable color / options ones will only go up in value, maybe 10-15 years or longer but will happen just like the e30, e36 and e46. The e9x is next. That being said, everyone wants to steal a car and get a good deal. They should look for trade ins at a Ford dealers or Chevy dealers who really don't know what they have and expect to pay $5k-$10k in maintenance. Since as long as I can remember, forum enthusiasts always ask and get the highest dollar for their cars.

EAG is a joke when it comes to selling them cars! I tried to sell them a 1 0f 1 in US 2011 e90 M3, manual, laguna seca blue back in 2019 and they lowballed the heck out of me. Never tried again.

Yes, super low mileage e30's command top dollar, but e36 and e46 have not increased in price, percentage wise, like Porsche's of similar vintage. And I am a former e92 m3 owner. I loved everything about that car. Except maybe the brakes. |

I wasn’t necessarily disagreeing with you. Just pointing to the lower production numbers of E9X vs their newer counterparts. Further, I’m thinking longer term than the recent auction results.

Just want to say you have a beautiful spec car. Worth the money to someone I'm sure.
Mods don't add value, but it remains that these mods are a nice addition and for someone it may be a great fit vs buying a low-mile stock E92 and buying these mods. |

We never know what the future holds but I *feel* like everyone got their fill of E9x. It's not like there was a never ending line of people waiting to buy them. Production numbers declined as the model aged, just like every other car. But like I said, I am a former owner and this car has it all. Looks, performance, sound, hydraulic steering... and shitty brakes =P |
