Coolant leakage
Hello, I am new here and I am currently experiencing a coolant leak from the evaporator box. I am wondering what could be causing this issue? My engine oil temperature is normal, but the engine sometimes shakes and I have already replaced the engine mount. Thank you for your help.

thats the coolant expansion tank. there should be an o-ring under that screw, chances are the screw is cracked, the o -ring failed or the tank is cracked. unscrew it and investigate.

The O-ring could be fine but the plastic screw can be over torqued and stretched. If stretched it bottoms out and will never ceil. Pull it out and grind off a little from the tip and try again. It doesn’t need to be super tight FYI and that’s usually the cause. If bleeding a quarter turn will do ya and go right back and call it 5lbs torque. ECS does sell a replacement screw w/O-ring if the threaded area on the tank is still good.
