Help: Fuel smell and drops from fuel line
Hi All
deansbimmer amrazM I am trying to R&R my coolant thermostat and I got to the fuel line on top of the thermostat housing. (1) I noticed the white clip is broken, so I plan to get a new one but more importantly (2) when I went to slightly move the fuel line I smelled fuel and saw a couple drop from this point in the fuel line in my picture below circled in lime green. I am wondering if this is bad and I need to get a whole new fuel line or is this normal because I flexed the fuel line some came out? Or should fuel never leak out of that line? Please help. Thanks. |

I just noticed something similar on the driver side when I was replacing my starter. Does it leak when the car is running? Mine does not spray or leak but when jerked around I can get a little. I’m worried about needing to replace it all as well.

It's only going to get worse after time, how much time is the question. Should replace ASAP.

Checking in here because mine did the same. No leak at all while the car is running or off with fuel pressure, just a few drops when I bent it upwards and can't seem to get it to happen again. Did you guys end up replacing yours?
