265/35/18 and 265/40/18 on 9.5 square
Any issues if I run 265/35 and 265/40 rear on square 9.5 219m?
Reason I ask is because I have these tires already in the garage. Will this setup interfere with Dsc? |

The car from factory has a taller rear anyway (245/40 to 265/40), so it might be ok. That's still an entire profile size difference. I wouldn't do it.

275/35 is smaller than 265/40, so you may upset dsc since stock, the system is expecting a taller rear, not shorter.

Is 285/35 an option in the rear? I’ve read mixed opinions. I’m in the same boat as OP.
275/35 smaller than stock 275/40 taller than stock 285/35 same diameter but too wide?? |

Why run staggered tires on square fitment wheels? You should be fine to run 275/35 square on a square rim set up. That's what I run on my 18x9.5 wheels for track.
265/35 is thinner than stock for the front. 275/35 is the same diameter as stock for front. If the OP had wider rear wheels, I'd do 275/35 front and 285/35 rear.

I’ve run 265/35 with 285/35 and also 275/35 with 285/35, both without issue.
Also contemplating 295/30 with 295/35 which based on the stagger/diameter I wouldn’t expect an issue. |
