Brembo Pista Question
Anyone running the Brembo Pista kit here? Tossing up between this and the 9660 AP Racing Kit.
Haven't been able to find much info on the Brembo Pista. My car is a dual duty so wanting to know which would be best for my needs. |

The AP kit will be lighter and function just as well. I have the AP9660 on my car and it's been flawless. Absolutely incredible kit.

The Pista kit looks like a response to the AP Radi-cal design. I'd get the AP because it is probably cheaper, proven, has anti-knockback springs, better data and post-sales support, and has abundant and cheaper consumables.
Some people complain about the grabbiness of the AP calipers on the street, but that is a personal preference. Others love it because of how hard it bites. |

Was anyone able to find anymore info on the Brembo Pista kit.
I have a reseller trying to sell me the Pista kit over the AP Radi-cal 5000R kit. Not sure on price comparison as yet. |

I had a Pista kit on my Z4M for a short while, but only because AP was unavailable for that car.
For the E92, Pista may be cheaper to buy from a reseller but 100% the AP will be cheaper in the long run due to pad thickness, reliability, and resale value. Also consider that the pad options for AP are amazing. Do you know which pads you will be able to use with the Pista kit? From my experience, the post-sales service from both Brembo and BuyBrakes was trash. You'd be better of buying an AP kit from OG Shark. Whenever AP vs X question comes up, the answer is almost always AP unless you want a cosmetic BBK.
