I'm getting conflicting information, but those should be BMW Style 351M rims. They are just regular m-tech rims that would be on a 5 series. I wouldn't say they're "M5" rims, and whoever is trying to sell them to you is trying to pull one over you.

Your question of them fitting? Yes, they'll fit, but the offset is something to be cognizant of. Maybe you can get them to work with spacers?
