To the OP, I wouldn't bat an eye; it seems reasonable imo.

It was a good deal (car is mint, 1 owner, full service records), but moreso because it was peak market.

Market has since softened, rates are up, money is tight. I wouldn't pay mid 30s for a 80k car with no special feature like individual paint or slicktop or singlehump manual etc.
