What tyres for E92 M3?
I optioned for the 19" rims with BMW, and I just noticed that I only got the Micheling Pilot Sport 2 tyres and not the Pilot Sport Cup tyres. Is that correct? Or did they rip me off?
Anyone know about this?

If you were ripped off, so was I. I think the Cup tires are standard with 19"s in Europe.

I have done 10,000kms now and have around 5,000kms left in my rears.
I have heard from a number of sources that Cups would give 5,000kms and thats it!

Putting Contis on the M3 would be ripping you off. PS2s work for me

5000kms That would make them a very expensive option. I replaced a rear PS2 last week and that cost $820 (for 1 tire) ... the cups are more expensive .... if you only get 5000kms out of them you could be spending 3-4 times as much (per km) on tires as you would on fuel!!

^ I was looking at prices for the Cup tires a month or so ago, so $820 wasn't too much of a surprise. Just pissed that I had to replace it so early. Anyway, I've now bought this, to tread where I believe I picked up the punture on the M3 .... it's Michelin Pilot Exaltos are much less costly:
