Lower rear after solid RSFB install
Has anyone else noticed their rear sitting about 1/4” lower after installing solid rear subframe bushings?
That was my experience after replacing the stock bushings w/46k mls on them with BW’s solid SFBs. Here’s some pics of the install: Pics The BW bushings get pressed in from the bottom of the SF and as the pic shows they “stick out” above the SF. The stock bushings OTOH get pressed in from the top of the SF. Since, apparently the BW bushings are taller than the SF itself, and sticks out at the top if it, this will cause the SF to drop about 1/2” or less compared to the stock setting. That’s my theory at least. What say you?

Yeah I couldn't wrap my head around it either and contacted them directly. It looks like they divorce the subframe away from the chassis compared to oem. After some correspondence and multiple photos sent to BW the answer I got back stated it was an optical illusion as the stock bush contact patch to the chassis isn't the entire cavity of the sf like the solid bush and I quote "at most it's the thickness of the flange" which makes no sense as all the flanges are installed bottom up of the solid bush. I left it alone as everything seemed fine.

On my car the OEM fronts were also installed from the top, and the rears from the bottom, but both of them appear to extend well past the top of the subframe.

After looking at those pics maybe there isnt that big a difference wrt to the subframe separation to the body between the stock bushings and the BW bushings. Fwiw, my subframe w/the BW bushings has the exact same separation to the body that you're seeing with the Turners: namely, 15mm in the front and 11.5mm in the rear.
