I also have a CCC (2008) E93, and added the Green-Yi ("Option D") trunk mount backup camera recommended in this thread. If you go back to pages 2-5 (can't remember exactly, but it is at the beginning of this thread), I believe you will find the Ali-Express Link someone posted.

This camera is working great, and was easy to install (as far as running the cabling is "easy" for any backup camera). I like it because it just needs the RCA camera connection and the Power from the Mr12Volt...no need to hook into a backup-light/tail-light for power. You just set Mr12Volt to use the gear position, and it will power the camera when you put the car in reverse. There is no need for a ground wire connection.

You will want to snip the lead for the guide lines generated by the camera, since Mr12volt provides the dynamic lines.

Also, recommend a straightened coat-hanger and some vasoline petroleum jelly to get the cable thru the cable conduit on the right side of the trunk. I'd check out the BimmerTech video on You-tube for a good E93 backup camera installation tutorial...

My only issue is that I need to adjust the camera (somehow) in it's mount, as currently it is showing my bumper taking up about 1/5th the screen at the bottom. I think the camera itself needs a little seating adjustment in its trunk-mount plastic housing. I'll get to it as time permits, but removing all the plastic pins on the E93 trunk lid is a pain, and you need to do that to get to the camera.

Purchase a camera that is of AHD720, to my understanding, it does not support above that. And adjust "aftermarket cam" in the camera setting.

I just installed Mr12volt dsp in my 09 e92 335i. It works great and thought it was all good but ran into a little hiccup after the install. My A/C is acting weird. It feels like it is only controlling the blower. When I try to change the direction of the air to the floor the button lights up but nothing happens and air still comes out the top. Condenser isn’t turning on either, even with the snowflake button lit. I checked the connections and they look fine so not sure what the issue could be. I know the unit doesn’t involve the ac control so I must have screwed something up putting it back together. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Check that all 3 harnesses are plugged in behind your climate control panel.

M3s have 3, not sure if yours will be different.

Does the telephone button on the steering wheel pick up/end calls? Mines doesn’t seem to work. Siri and track scroll buttons do work.

I can't figure out what is wrong with mine. I have reached out to Mr12volt through whatsapp and he is also trying to figure out why mine is not working. I thought I would post here to get some ideas or suggestions. My car is a 2011 E90 M3. There is no 6 disc external cd changers. I am using the new mr12volt with DSP

Got latest Mr12Volt "BMW CIC CarPlay & AA Interface with DSP" for my 2013 E92 M3 but couldn't get it to work (similar to Vexter182's problem). Cannot get to the P2000 menu; iDrive knob stops working and lost bluetooth. I have NOT coded anything; Is that what I'm missing?
My CIC/HU is a model BMW 6512 CI928343001. Any insight/feedback greatly appreciated while I wait for Mr12Volt's reply to my email/chat-message.

Double check the LVDS cable isn't swapped and the IDrive plug is fully seated

Checked/double-checked iDrive plug and it is working but, gets to a point that it doesn't do anything.
Screen shows video (tells me LVDS connection is OK), which I can switch from radio to CD using steeling wheel buttons but nothing else. Cannot get to P2000 screen from CD1. Looks like when P2000 takes over, it kind of locks. the power LED in the P2000 is red: not sure if that's good or bad (brand new latest P2000 model).

You can deduce a few things here from your videos.

1. The unit powers up, and your idrive controller works in CIC. This means canbus/idrive controller cable is all good.

2. You have video, which means the LVDS cable is working correctly.

3. The unit shows up in CIC, and shows the right info. This means MOST is working correctly, and coding is right.

What it sounds like isn't happening, is the video cutover is not being triggered. Basically the p2000 is running, it just hasn't hijacked the LVDS signal.

Normally, when this happens, you can hear a relay click in the box. When you select the unit from the CIC menu- do you hear a relay click on the p2000 box?

Lastly, What are your dip switch settings? Are you positive they are correct?

I got it to work. I went to external devices and then back to CD1 and then it triggered the box.

Not possible to get the discount this way. They only give it to returning customers. They review the previous order number and make sure its the same person.

I’ve got the new unit but getting an occasional audio tick or click. Its there all the time even when playing a video on USB. Never got this with old unit.

Sound is great and this is a minor annoyance but would be good to fix it.

Anyone else noticed this? Any pointers on what to check?

Had to forcefully plug-it-in to the point that almost broke the whole iDrive assembly!?!

• iDrive knob works now!!!
• I can see and connect mr12volt_ccf2 wifi and bluetooth;
• Still cannot bring up P2000 menus;
• Trick of going to "External Devices" then back to CD/DVD is NOT working for me;
• I do see CD/Multimedia->CD/DVD->No disc in player

Will search M3posts and continue troubleshooting this week...

You stated in your original post that you haven't coded anything. Check that first. It sounds like you don't have the CD changer coding done. Details are on the first page of this thread.

Just curious- are you getting this with the DSP set to flat? General p2000 volume is at the default of 30?

I can't say Ive experienced anything like this, but if you push the DSP settings too far you can get some distortion which might be what you are describing. Difficult to say without hearing it.

Mine has the same problem with the DSP, but it also had this issue with v1.

This leads me to think its a coding relating problem.

Anyone else having the issue or is it working for others? Any ideas what it might be as my Siri button works (as i coded that out)

Would be great if it did as it is always a bit of a race to pick up the call with the idrive controller before it rings out

I have a problem that Siri does not respond to the voice button. When I code SVS it works in the CIC system. When I code away SVS, Siri still does not work.
Does anyone know what the problem is here?
