Some of these comments remind me of that old Seinfeld episode where Kramer says "It's a write off". This is a great line. Will try this out on my wife with my next car purchase. Last edited by jerseydirt; 01-05-2022 at 09:06 AM.. |

Some of you guys are out of control...business, economics, and so forth. The guy bought a car he wants and to do with as he wants. He's already made clear he doesn't give a shit what any of you think.
Why would you he buy a car that will depreciate $60K over the first 10K miles? Because he can afford to. That car has seen less ass time than any other M3 out there, and it's his perfect spec. The paint is likely perfect, he can wrap the car and keep it pristine. Money no object, I'd do exactly the same thing. |

The best part about Brembo GT kits is there are no drawbacks. The are quiet, light enough, look awesome, but aren't as aggressive as something like an AP kit. I've learned my lessons over the years going to hardcore for what I'm using the car to do.

Curious if you'd be interested in selling directly. PM me if that's a possibility. Thank you!

Funny how much debate and speculation from third-parties a simple question to the OP can create. Gotta love the interwebs. Good luck with your project. It's certainly a beautiful car. |

You'd have to be willing to pay $130k+ to buy it. With his business, he is in the unique position that it is worth a lot more to him than anyone else.

You didn't ask a simple question you responded with a snarky, Seinfeld clip to people who basically gave you the same answer Matt did. Super annoying. |

Good for you dude! What an amazing opportunity! Your very fortunate to be able to have the means to relive a brand new e92 M3 almost a decade later. Glad it's going to you and not sitting in some dudes collection hidden from people who want to see it!

And obviously as mentioned by others and Matt it might make good business sense because of the attention and content it brings. I wonder how many 10k mile or less e92 m3s are out there in blue, no accidents, good shape, stick, zcp, single hump, etc? Probably not many. |

This type of overanalysis and snarky behavior is exactly why people stop sharing their cars with the forum. We don't need to see that stuff in his threads. Last edited by e90335e36m3; 01-06-2022 at 07:35 AM.. |

Wow, what a sensitive bunch here. I thought this was a discussion forum where people can ask questions and get different perspectives. Go back and read my original question to Matt.
"I'm genuinely curious why you would pay a huge premium for an original, ultra low mileage car if you plan to modify and drive it? I completely get the desire to own and preserve original time capsules. I also get the desire to modify and drive cars. I'm just not sure I understand when these conflicting objectives intersect. I suppose if money is irrelevant then why not always buy the best. Is that the case here?" It was politely phrased and I even suggested myself that if this was just a case of money not mattering, then it made sense. I don't know Matt and I certainly didn't know his business model or finances. I didn't know we needed to perform personal and business background checks on members before asking them a question. I don't think Matt took any offense to my question, as clearly none was intended, and was nice enough to answer it. My "snarky" comments and "over analysis" were not part of my question to Matt. They were responses to the peanut gallery who was unnecessarily trying to speak on his behalf. None of you shelled out a record price for an E92, only Matt did. His reply was the only one that mattered. |

So happy for you. You inspired me to get one! I called EAG about an MW / Extended Fox Red they had and inquired about yours, when they said the MW sold for $90K within 24 hours and yours was $120K, I was disappointed. I've decided to go a different way. Keep the M4CS and buy a relatively cheap early production model to turn into a project and finally won one last night on BaT. Key thing is that it's manual. Can't wait to park it alongside the CS.
