Bad Cold Start. Misfire and fuel or oil spitting from exhaust.
UPDATE: Loaded my Alpine tune yesterday and all symptoms are gone. Perfect start up this morning. 700ish rpm nice and steady.
So my cold starts, car sits overnight, have been getting progressively worse. It starts now by hitting 700rpm for 2 sec then diving down to very low rpm. Sputtering and popping like a misfire. Sometimes it cuts out and sometimes it recovers about 5-10 seconds later. Idle hits about 900rpm for a few minutes then settles down to normal. This morning I noticed a small splatter of what looks like oil out of the exhaust on the concrete. Could this be fuel/carbon and not oil? No idea how oil could be exiting the exhaust. It will not do this immediately after starting after cold start. It's also non existent on warm starts. TA's were replaced 20k ago RB done 8k ago No CEL Drives perfect once warm. No misfiring or loss of power Battery is good. Car sits for 5-10 days between driving without a tender. After the bad cold starts my codes are misfires on all cylinders and a multiple cylinder misfire code. That's it. Any insight before I take it to a shop? Are you sure it isnt just water? I dont think I have seen actual gas or oil make it all the way through the exhaust like that, without catastrophic failure.

It could have been water and carbon. It was very thick and black. Car was inside the garage for the past week so wouldn't think there would be condensation inside the exhaust.
