FS: 1995 NA Miata Track Car - Portland, OR ($1k Price Drop!)
$12,000 - 1995 NA Mazda Miata MX-5.
163k miles. This car has been meticulously babied its entire life. Driven like a grandma until the oil is warmed up, garage kept, never driven in the rain. Never tracked, bounced across grassy infields, spun in an exuberated manner, etc. J/K LOL. This is a track car. Its lived its life as such. This was the personal car of Eddie Nakato, owner of AR Motorsport/Auto Service and Cobalt Racing Brakes. Its been a shop loaner, a track day loaner, a winter beater, and Im pretty sure it once clubbed a baby seal to death with a camshaft. We purchased the car in 2018 from Eddie and it has been one of our dedicated track cars since. All work and maintenance done at AR Motorsport/Auto Service. We swapped an NB driver seat in to allow test drives. Car comes with fixed mounting brackets and the bucket seat pictured. My wife is 52 and it was fixed in her driving position. Im 62, so, yeah. Also, hood is signed underneath by Tom Matano. Its like being tattooed by the automotive equivalent of Jesus. What this car is NOT: A daily driver. I mean, you could. Who am I to judge? Perfect. Did you read track car? Its got some dings, scuffs, and other cosmetic issues. What this car IS: Fun as hell 180hp-ish of 4 cylinder savagery. Pretty comfy on the street due to MCS 2WR if you switch between track and street settings. We dont, because #racecar. Red Youre buying suspension and a hard top and get a car for free! Think of the savings! 100% turnkey, ready to go for serious HPDE/autocross. Literally buy it and go. Nothing needs done unless you want aero or convert to full race-car. As it sits its good for mid to high :30s (1:35-1:38 or so). My wife isn't the fastest driver, she peddles it around in the high :40s.
I haven't driven it at PIR since it's had a fixed seat that I didn't fit in, if I can I'll see about taking it out for a fast lap or two if it doesn't sell in the next few weeks. I'll be at PIR back to back days next week. |

Did I see you guys at the HPDE event at PIR on Tuesday June 29th, the day after the 115 degree weather broke? wondering if this is the Miata that humbled me so easily.

If it was Tuesday then that was a ProDrive event, wasn't there for that. Lots of fast Miatas around
