Love the color scheme. Where'd you get the red hoses from?

Going back to stock?

Not to be an ass. But, why would one purchase this kit when they can buy it brand new w/ warranty & tune for $800 bucks more directly from ESS?

The tune alone will be 1k+ for a used kit.

GLWS though

To make good power with this kit I Instantly went with a diff tuner which voided the warranty doing that which made more power than it did with Ess base tune . Paid a bit extra for black housing when first purchased and to convert to a bov. Paid extra for the custom powder coating . To each their own . Feel free to order directly from Ess.

Out of curiosity about how much HP did you make going with the custom tune over ESS's? Getting a G1+ kit soon and planning to go the custom tune route.

Around 80 wheel hp and 45 torque not just about the gain but how open and strong it feels after. Ess tune is good but you have to remember they run their tunes safe to cover their end when there's a lot more power to be made with the kit

Curious to see both dyno sheets if you have them. If you dont mind sharing or you can PM me. Looking at ESS in the near future also but didnt think going with a custom tune would net 80hp/45tq at the wheels. Nice gains! And GLWS.

G1+ kit, a G2 kit, or AA Gen 2 Level 3 kit?

I am thinking about doing the same. Trying to decided between a VT2-650, a G1+ kit, a G2 kit, or an Active Autowerke Generation 2 Level 3 kit.

Anybody have recommendations or experience with these non ESS kits? I might go for a methanol kit but I'm not sure if the extra power is worth the increased wear and tear on the car.

Thoughts?

I didn't think the VT2-650 kit was still available new?
