Are the GP Thunder 8500k H8s just as bright at night as the stock OEM H8s? both on high beam and on low beam?

I don't believe the angel eyes change in brightness with high or low beams (not sure though) but the GP Thunders are bright enough as DRL (not sure if they are as bright as stock H8s). Not much help, sorry.

The way the light is made "whiter" with these types of bulbs is to coat them with a blue coating. Just like wearing sunglasses, this will cut the amount of light that gets through. The brightness is the same on low or high beams. They do run brighter in DRL mode than in parking lamp mode, though.

I'm not really sure how the headlights work then?... I thought the H8's are the high and low beams, and part of that light is taken for the angel eyes? Or are the H8's just for the angel eyes and the regular headlights are from another bulb?

Stock H3s are 55 watt. I wouldn't go over 55 because of potential heat issues.

So I put my GP Thunder 8500k H8s in today and they look great when the DRLs are on, but when I turn on the headlights the angel eyes look yellow. How do I make the angel eyes look the same as the headlights?

In headlight/parking light mode the lights are dimmed, so no, doesn't matter what bulb.

I will soon as I get a chance... going to change them though because they are too blue.

The "Corner Illuminating Lamps" throw a little extra light in the direction of turns at speeds under 40 mph by turning on one side or the other (activated by steering wheel angle or turn signal indicator). I believe, like the Adaptive Headlights, this is only with the light control in position 3 (Auto). In reverese, both come on, and when at a standstill, only the passenger side. See page 88 of the mowner's manual
