I have OMP seats mounted in a way that I think is too low (middle setting on the BK mounts) and you're welcome to sit in and try it out.
My car has a sunroof though so just note head clearance will be a little lower than on a CF roof car.

Yes I will be there but I am buying OG Sharks old seats and trying to get them installed before then . I think I should be okay based on the previous comments, it seems the seats themselves should provide a good increase in headroom.

Thank you for the offer though

Has anyone used AP's 9660 caliper on their front axle? Looks like it fits a 25mm thick pad like the 9668.

The 9660 kit I believe is the one that uses the 18mm pad. The 9668 is basically identical but has the 25mm pad.

EDIT*** - right from Essex site

"Pad Thickness, CP9660 caliper (18mm) vs. CP9668 caliper (25mm)

For many of the platforms we are servicing, we have both the CP9660 and CP9668 calipers available. The biggest difference between these two calipers is the thickness of the pads that they can accommodate. The CP9660 caliper uses an 18mm thick pad in the above shape, while the CP9668 caliper uses a 25mm thick pad. Which one is right for you? If you're running multi-hour endurance races, or if you want to reduce the frequency of pad changes, the CP9668 is likely your proper choice. If you're running standard 20-40 minute HPDE/Time Trial sessions, or sprint races, the 18mm thick pads will be more than ample. There are two primary tradeoffs when going with the CP9668 caliper: It is about a pound heavier (including the difference in pad weight), and roughly 14mm wider than the CP9660. You will lose that 14mm on wheel spoke clearance vs. the CP9660 kit, so please make sure to check both fitment templates if you're debating on caliper choice."

Apologies, I intended to ask if anyone had used 9665 calipers. You're correct in that the 9660 definitely uses the 18mm pad.

Anyone want to talk me out of buying a third set of forged wheels? Thinking it would be smart to have a backup set of track wheels and tires on hand...but with this money I could also buy some very nice aero or a set of coilovers.

Someone is selling a used set of CCW C14s locally: 18x11 + 18x13.

Probably going the Faircloth or Gspeed route. Nine Lives still doesn't have a C7 wing for whatever reason.

To be more clear, I have a set of Finspeeds as street wheels (also backup track wheels if it rains). My Forgelines are the track-only wheels at this point. The CCWs would be another track-only wheel.

Yep, doesn't interfere with the trunk opening and you don't have to drill into the painted part of the bumper to get the chassis mount. Easy to 'reverse' it later.

I have a couple of Faircloth tunnels on my splitter. He has reasonable prices for carbon pieces.

Yes. It's just clips of me giving shitty driving advice, not sure anyone is willing to pay for that.

Yes sir!

I always thought RS4 275/35/18 were no longer available since TireRack told me they were no longer available. What I didn't know is that Hankook Motorsports has exclusive stock for whatever reason (probably to keep stock for their LuckyDog and endurance races they sponsor) Anyways, they have tons of 275/35/18 for $245each and October is free shipping promo so I ended up with $980 shipped.

Ohhh good to know about the free shipping! I knew about the exclusivity on sizes but the shipping has kept me from buying a couple of times

They oddly don't charge sales tax outside of the state Their free shipping was a promo code for the past two months.

They are in Austin IIRC but I think That is a minimum 2-3hr drive from you?
