SSII or AW with CF roof in bridgewater-princeton area?
I just placed an order for an AW and I am getting cold feet. I am going back and forth between AW and SSII with a CF roof. I would love to see one in person. anyone in the area take delivery yet?

I went back and forth from AW to SSII over the course of about 3 weeks. I was about to switch to SSII when I found out it was too late to switch. I am now waiting for my AW M3 coupe, estimated arrival in early May. No worries, I am sure I will love it since I have yet to see one on the road yet.
My advice.. Call your local dealers and see if they have an M5 in Silverstone. If so... definitely drive there and check it out even if it is out of your way. Silverstone is absolutely beautiful IMO, it definitely has an iridescent character where the color looks slightly different from day to day. Make sure you see it in person before committing to it. |

Rick,
I saw a SSII M3 sedan out in the sun and really liked it. i expected it to have a blueish tint (which it did not). My build date isn't until june 1 so I think have time.... i am going to call around to a few dealers. |

The Blueish tint definitely comes out more under bright sunlight. What threw me off was that I saw an M6 in Silverstone that looked pale Greenish (I'm not color blind as others confirmed the color). The Greenish tint is what scared me away but then I noticed all the pictures in the Silverstone thread which I'm sure you have already seen (http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89523) and noticed none of them had that green tint. By then it was too late to change. You really can't go wrong with either AW or SSII, both gorgeous colors IMO.

AW is probably the best "color" on the M3, IMO, but it is going to be very common. I'd say go with SSII/Fox.

Be unique, The SSII shows the lines just as well as the AW does... everyone and their mother has an AW
