Question about Bimmerworld (or I guess any aftermarket?) x-pipe

I picked up a Bimmerworld x-pipe from a local seller last night ($450 what a deal!) and have a quick install question.

While doing my transmission mounts last weekend I noticed that my car does not have the exhaust brace the mounts to the trans (part 10 below)

From what I have seen it looks like most people are not using this part with aftermarket xpipes. Is that correct? Trying to make sure I have everything needed before install.

Thanks!

This is a common issue with aftermarket xpipes, however, you can buy a few spacer and 4 longer bolts and still use the brace

I'm not using it and I have test pipes for the past 2 years, it's all good, no dipping or scrapping issues and I'm on air lift for 2 years, no worries

how does the throttle response feel? 450 fucking steal

I haven’t put it on yet, hopefully next weekend after I get the little 02 extenders. Do you feel a big difference with the test pipes even without a tune?

I’ve been able to use the plate with AA, Challenge and Akra x-pipes. No rubbing/contact.
