I had my car dyno'd. It put down 374HP (with a spike to 380) and 362 lb-ft (not sure how accurate that is but OK.) I don't believe dyno conditions were ideal; I was sweating in there but you guys already think I make too many excuses for my big fat rowdy car. Seriously, I can gain a little bit more HP by pulling out the charcoal filters. MB only installs these in US cars for emissions... to stop fumes from coming out of the intake (?!) Well it also stops air from coming in... but that's just what the tuners say. They seem to have studied this more than I have so I trust that.
Here's a link to VRPtuning's dyno charts of the C63 and the E92 M3: http://www.mbworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=247900 And here is the video: (don't laugh at my Snap music, k? ) [u2b]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FwCwMRDjWGI&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FwCwMRDjWGI&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/u2b]

Vadim at VRP could tell pretty quickly what was going on, but he didn't want me to divulge what he found. I think he's working on it now, and it should be fairly easy to get at least 420 to the wheels, which is what the E63s are putting down stock.

"Reanimating" this ancient thread on M3 corner balancing.

Wow, this is an old thread. Ironically, I am on the forums today for the first time in years! I will have to read thru it for old times sake. Although I think I am already embarrassed at my brash-ness.
I still have the C63. It has been very reliable, now at about 30K miles, it's mostly a garage queen. The only thing I don't like about the car is the adaptive transmission. It can get very lazy unless you're driving like a madman most of the time. I had a Kleeman K2 ECU flash and it ended up with 512 crank on the last dyno. The car is a sleeper and pretty old-school by today's standards... no parking sensors or backup camera. I still have my '09 135i which I never want to get rid of. At 139K (mostly freeway) miles and still on the original clutch. Regards to all my old forum friends if you're still here.
