FS: Remus racing pipes (X-Pipe)
Hi All,
My ongoing quest to find the perfect exhaust setup has left me with another piece for sale. I paired this Remus x-pipe (really an h-pipe here) with my Borla ATAK catback and it was just too loud for me. At cruising speeds it sounded really mean and vicious, almost like a Nascar. I think it's a combination of the ATAK mufflers and the H-pipe design that gave it that big block sound. If you want loud, this is the setup for you. FWIW, I got many compliments from people driving around but I live in a quiet neighborhood and it just drew too much attention for my liking. I'm sure with a stock or milder aftermarket catback it wouldn't have been so loud. This mid section piece eliminates the resonators and secondary cats. You make a cut behind your primary cats and this pipe clamps on. No CELs as you primary cats remain. Google Remus racing pipes for more info It was on the car for only about 3 months. Needless to say it is in perfect condition and comes in it's original packaging with all the hardware. I paid $600 with shipping for it. Looking to get $450 for it picked up. Tough to get an x-pipe for that cheap. Located south of the city near Plymouth but I also work in Quincy and can arrange pickup there. Thx
