Swapped yet another set of OEM kidney grilss This time, they have black slats and chrome surrounds (OEM M3 type) whereas I had just swapped in the all chrome non-M version. I am definitely liking these better.

Looks so good. Is that an AJM Motorsports front lip?

12517847971 is the revised connector with pigtails with crimp fittings. I didn't even know about it, but a fellow E9Xer I met at the track informed me when my car went into limp mode for a coolant temp sensor code.

Have a code for the Idle Control Valve, car runs fine other than the first km on fuel up, and even then it's only when I'm stopping does the RPM go up and down slightly.

My appointment is for next Wednesday.

Going to do 50% on all side windows and 40% on rear. Just want it for heat rejection as I like the look of the car. Personally choice. Plus, I hope to avoid tickets!!!

What are you guys going with for tint %?

I'd go with a slightly lighter tint. Especially if you're driving through towns that have their own PD. RCMP is pretty lenient but to an extent.

On my M3 30% rear and 50% front. Celica 5% rear and 35% front. Previous car 30% rear and 40% front. Only got 1 ticket for tint, ever. And I was speeding at the time but the cop gave me a choice between speeding ticket or front tints. I’ve been pulled over for tints several times but they all resulted in verbal warning. Cops in Vancouver Island are much more relaxed in my experience.

Hmm, wondering if I should do the same thing. I remember you recommended someone for window tints locally here. Might as well get it done soon, also gotta get my gfs car done cause the baby mainly rides in her car

Your call.

I’ve used nmotion many times before and they’re great. On the pricey side but no hassle with warranty issues. My friend just had his car done by them and it looks great. I also have contact for a mobile tint guy that several dealers use. He goes to your place to do it, which is convenience if you’re doing both cars at once.
