WTB: OEM 19s -- trade for 18s plus $1200
Anyone who bought (or ordered) the M3 with 19s but wishes they had 18s or wishes they had $1200 in their pocket drop me a line. My car will be arriving on/about 14 April with 18s and I'll be available to do the swap then. Conditions - All wheels/tires must look showroom new (including my 18s) and less then 500 miles difference between the two sets of wheels. If more than 500 miles difference, we'll make a price adjustment to benefit the person with the least miles on their tires. I'm near Philadelphia and am willing to drive 6 or 8 hours to do the swap. I'll be looking for excuses to go for a drive anyhow. Post here or send me a PM.

There are many virutes of the 18s. But after seeing both wheels in person, I don't think the 18s are going to look that great on a Grey car. The wheels are virtually the same color as the Grey, which won't give any contrast at all. Am I going to hate the 18s, no. But if I can find someone to swap with who wants the 18s, I'll do the deal.
If it doesn't work out, that's fine. The 18s will make a great track wheel, with more abundant and cheaper choices for track tires. If I don't get a deal, I'll start looking for a CSL style wheel like the M3 concept had on it, soon. So I guess, I'm a convert. But I'll be happy either way. I was actually reluctant to post this thread, but oh well, people can change their minds.

Updated arrival date of my car. Slipped at least a week, because of problems on the Elektra.

I am a convert too. the 19's fit the e92 better as well as looking better with Jet Black. 18's are too dark. I will be looking for a set of 18's for the track unless my e46 M3 track wheels fit.

I'll post some pics this weekend of a Space Grey with 18s. Anyhow, I'm gonna love my car regardless of wheel. I'd just prefer the 19s now. Wheels are easy to change. If I can't get anyone to trade me 18 for 19s (plus cash), I'm gonna keep my 18s for the track. However, I don't know if I'll track it this year. We have a new track here in NJ, so it'll be tough not taking it out. We'll see how it goes, once I get the car.

thought about the stock 18's for the track - but I prefer a square set up.
