Good shop to do the RBs.
Can anyone suggest any good shop to do the RBs?
Either around Indianapolis, Indiana or Madison, Wisconsin? I found a few European specific shops in Indy but no way of knowing if they can carry out a work like RBs swap. Thanks in advance! |

Premiere Auto Sports off shadeland and 465.
Then there's Autobahn off 37 south of greenwood. Either ones are excellent choices, although I'm friends with the guys at Premiere, they are my go to guys. |

I had mine done about 2 years ago at Motorwerks in commerce. Put in VAC / ARP bolts. BE weren’t avail at the time, but so far with 20k miles, daily driving and night parking in 2 winters and spotless OCI’s every 5k, I feel pretty confident in the work. |

haven't been to motorwerks myself. Vast was able to get the full Rod bearings job, engine mounts, r/s valve cover gasket, l/r strut/mounts covered under my warranty on my first service ticket with them, i just paid a little bit extra to get be/arp hardware which was fantastic. As it turned out my M3 was quite lucky to be plagued with "oil consumption" issues . Also, their prices on engine oil for our cars is great, at least Redline 5w50/10w60 is $2 less a quart less thru them im not sure what else they'll sell because i only asked about redline. maybe ill ask them what else they sell. i dont pay tax there and im in the area often. So far, im quite satisfied with Vast, more than happy to rec them to other m3 owners in SE michigan to get rb job done. As i'm relatively new to ann arbor, its also really nice to avoid the completely useless local con-artist "euro" indy shop and the completely and utterly useless local dealer. |

I had mine done at Motorwerks with VAC extra clearance / ARP. Been 25K miles since, daily driving year round including parking outside thru the frigid winters. UOA has been rock solid a 0 to 1 PPM. I have a friend who is looking for RB update - which shop would you avoid? you can also PM me. Thanks! |
