Changed my air and cabin filters today at 45k miles. I bought the car at 33k, not sure when they were done but both were pretty dirty so it was definitely time.

I consider myself pretty much a total noob so if I thought they were easy to DIY, even a monkey can change them.

Epoxied my CF steering wheel trim in transparent blue and red.

engine temp during some spirited driving
this is within acceptable range, right?

at what point do I actually have to back off and let the car cool down? past the next marker?

Back off until you get air in that tire. I have never seen my temp go a hair past 210 and that was in 90 degree heat going high speeds on the highway and once while stuck behind an accident.

No shade on BOOF, but if you have no TPMS, then what does that low tire pressure icon in the dash indicate?

a bit high for comfort. you probably want to see if the waterpump has been replaced or not.

it comes up as TPM malfunction since it can't detect sensors
