did you do anything specific with the fender liner? i've fantasized about fender vents, but i want to keep my fender liners... i would want some material for the inside fender liner to "bridge" to. this could easily be achieved, but i'm no metal worker, unfortunately.

Need to add some oil cooling. So we are sharing some space with the DCT cooler. This is the second oil cooler.

What makes you think it's an oil issue vs a water issue?

i see a shroud in the background... i imagine it goes in front of the main heat exchanger behind the screened bumper? any plans on making something for the back end to guide air out of the hood vents?
also, how synonymous are oil and water temps? would greatly increasing cooling to one significantly help the other?

Water stays consistent right at 212-220 So the race shop doesn't think it's a radiator capacity issue. When we moved the oil cooler to the old air intake location we lost a little square footage. We are using the DCT duct that is on the left side of front. Dropping the oil cooler below as to not block the DCT cooler. What is happening with the oil is this. Car get up to temp just fine and then levels off around 245-255 but then after 15 Min session starts to creep up. We are battling the creeping effect. Because of the low press created by the fender and hood vents. Don't think it will be necessary to duct it up to the vents. Should just happen on its own. Running the car Wednesday and will report back.

Some of the shielding after removing the fender liners. Left is for air jack and Right is the main power line.

Hot track day today. But good News is the cooling upgrades are tested and passed with flying colors. 95+ degree today and 120+ track temps.
Water didn't get above 210, and oil max was 258, and DCT max was 186. Good day. But HOT!

you're running 295's up front, right? how much more clearance did you get when you ditched the fender liner? any really hard points of contact now?
