Any wheel finish will do that over time...especially polished lips which are higher maintenance. Don't think that has anything to do with his build quality. My polished lips are looking just as good as day 1 two years later.

What products do you use to keep it up?

Honestly, just the standard issue quick detailers. My wheels have been ceramic coated since day 1, so I'm sure that really helped me out.

looks like Recaro Sporsters, how much did the whole thing (2 seats, rails, airbag delete, heated seat delete if you had heated seats) cost you roughly? very interested in doing it soon

My favorite seats of all time. Having a red interior is making pulling the trigger on another set a bit a bit tough as reupholstering is gonna cost a bit more than my last m3 with black interior...

Where'd you purchase from?

I'm very happy with it. I'd say that the fitment actually is an easy 8/10

Ya they're the Sportster CS I went this route because they're extremely comfortable for me and very well fitted. I have the Performance seats in my 1M so you can say I'm sportster biased but didn't want to shell out the premium for another set. I recently bought the seats used from a forum member. Take my number loosely as I haven't calculated exactly what I've spent, but a little over $4k. I had my buddy do the coding work and I went with Recaro sliders with Planted floor mounts. Great combo except I had to drill holes in the Planted floor mounts in order to get floor mount bolts in. I highly recommend going this route, definitely compliments the interior perfectly.

It may not look too bad if you went with black leather as it could compliment the other black bits in the interior.

Purchased from a forum member. Maybe some contrast red stitching or coloring the Recaro emblem in red, not sure if either are possible, but probably be cheaper than reupholstering.

Torn between that lip and the modecarbon v1. That lip looks like it sits higher than the v1. I'm scared of destroying the v1 with the sh*tty roads in my city.

Thanks for the feedback on the lip!

I've had the V2 with my car lowered and no issues thus far. Just have to drive smart!

No spacers - no rubbing. I had 255/275 with 10mm all around, but prefer this setup.
