In order to better meet the requirements of those weekend warrior M3s that undergo grueling track conditions, as well as to better serve those who want an ultra-durable piece of equipment for rough street terrain, Mode Carbon is now offering the GTS Front Spoiler in FRP material. Fiber Reinforced Plastic material is designed to handle abuse from scrapes, bumps, or anything else a hostile driving condition may throw at you, without needing immediate repair or replacement. FRP is intended to be a more affordable alternative to carbon fiber, not to detract from the stunning aesthetic value and structural integrity that carbon fiber adds to any automotive application. Retained is the fitment and quality that you come to expect from any Mode Carbon product.

Is the bottom "lip" a seperate peice or all one peice?

It's a second Splitter attached to the upper splitter. Together they make one piece. When removed, it comes off as one piece. Hope that makes sense...

Is the V2 basically the V1 with an added lip at the bottom? If so, I would be interested to purchase but located in the Bay Area and would need shipping.

Yes, there's an added Splitter to the V1 basically...

As I told other buyers, I'm willing to ship it at the buyers expense. It'd be a pretty large box tho.

It held up fine at streets of and big willow (in the rain).

It's held on by 5 screws which are there already on the stock Bumper, and 3m double sided tape. I had trouble removing it. It's on really securely.
