The 1M off-the-shelf kits use the standard CP5555 road car calipers. Here you can see plenty of space between the caliper face and the BBS FI wheel.
They are about 161.5mm wide depending on what calipers you go with https://www.apracing.com/drawings/cp5555_1cd.pdf The CP5780s are 186.30mm wide but the width is assymetrical since it is a Radi-Cal caliper. The outboard side will be about 20mm wider then. The 1M should have no problem clearing these calipers with a "bbk" friendly wheel. Last edited by Halitosis; 05-16-2015 at 01:03 PM.. |

No quick pad change since the caliper needs to be unbolted and these are more focused on max cooling and rigidity. Can't have it both ways since monobloc calipers with quick pad release won't be able to be fitted with carbon ducts like these. What will make it just as fast is if you do quick disconnects for both calipers. One caliper has dry bleeds/quick disconnects already so it just needs the other.
