Yes, sitting normal. The front splitter is angled down slightly so maybe that's it? Also pic taken at an odd angle.

Yes, you can dial in more or less downforce with this type of setup. Here is a better pic from side. As you can see the splitter is less noticeable when viewed from the side. The splitter can also be mounted more forward. I mounted mine further back to help with driving up inclines.

Splitter does not come pre-drilled. You have remove bumper, line up splitter and drill your own holes. However, slotting holes with a dremel would be a good idea if you want that adjustability. I used clamps to hold splitter and bumper together while I marked and drilled holes.

No, adjuster rod should be mounted close to leadind edge of splitter to help secure it and add adjustability. Longer rods can be purchased separately to allow mounting directly beneath the bumper instead of next to grill.

I know that you should mount the adjusters on the splitter as close to the front edge as possible, but what about on the bumper side, can you mount them behind the mesh?

I love what you've done with the OEM splitters and the APR Performance splitter! Did you apply any type of adhesive to the under side of the OEM splitters, or are the bolts and adjuster rods sufficient?
Edit: Also, a purely superficial question, but how close are the CF patterns/weaves between the OEM splitters and the APR piece?

I was wondering if its possible to not have to drill the bumper, and have the adjuster rods stick through the mesh, by mounting them inside the bumper? (but this would cause adjustment to be much more difficult/ annoying?)

I guess you could, but you would still have to cut the grill and make a special bracket to mount upper part of rod behind the bumper.
