PSS now in 285/30/19
Hey all,
Unless I'm missing something here, it looks like Michelin is finally making the PSS in the size we've all been wanting for a long time!! 285/30/19 http://www.michelinman.com/tire-sele...ails#techspecs |

Yes, those are run-flats. Used for original equipment on the front of a ZR1 Corvette.

Thx Ben, I was also curious about running the OEM PSS 255/275 for the F80 M4 on the E90 M3. I know they're supposed to be designed specifically for the M4, but given the similarity in weight distribution, similar suspension designs, similar loads, and Front engine rear drive setups, if the M4 PSS would be taking advantage of a better, more M-specific compound that may also benefit the E90M3. Any insight is appreciated. Thx in advance.

In the case of the F80 PSS, it doesn't look like there's much difference to be found in the specs. Doesn't mean there's no difference in the tire, but the change would be fairly subtle. I'm perfectly happy to be proven wrong on a case by case basis, but my general rule is this: if you don't have the specific car for which the tire is OE, getting the OE version is unlikely to give any specific benefit.
