Front tires Bridgestone S-04 255/35-19 are cupped pretty badly after about 10K street miles. Rears are fine. I have Dinan springs with Dinan camber plates.

Alignment settings:

Front Left: Camber -2.2 Toe 0.02
Front Right: Camber -2.1 Toe 0.03
Front Cross camber -0.2, cross caster 0.1, total toe 0.05

Rear Left: Camber -1.3 Toe 0.07
Rear Right: camber -1.4 Toe 0.08
Rear cross camber 0.0, total toe 0.16, thrust angle -0.01

The Bridgestone have never been to the track, I have track tires for that. Can the alignment experts find the culprit? Too much negative camber? Toe settings?

That is more camber than a normal street alignment, but it isn't excessive.

When you said cupping, do you mean the inner shoulders? 10K miles is pretty short for front tires with no track use on S04's/PSS/PS2/etc.

The outer shoulders should be in great shape with those specs unless you're cornering hard very often on the street.

sometimes its the most obvious thing....tire pressure? over inflated?

Over-inflation....I was running 38psi all the way around for most the life of tires, until I backed down to 36 recently. Maybe this is the problem.

I just had my mechanic do a thorough inspection of the suspension and that appears to be fine.

I don't think a couple of psi is going to make a difference to the way the tyre wears.

Agree, it is usually tire balance.

Might help to post some photos of the tires. A visual of exactly what the uneven wear pattern is could give some clues as to the problem.

On my e46 chassis, my cupping was due to a worn FCAB. Replacing that fixed my issue.
