e92 eisenmann tips question
Hi,
i have a question . This m3 had the e92/e93 eisenmann race and diffuser installed. But the tips looks kinda short with diffuser installed. Is that normal? |

Is that an Arkym diffuser? Remember, you can adjust the exhaust, just move it all the way back. Mine sticks out just a tad past the diffuser.
You can kind of see it in these pictures: I guess another question is are you sure it's an E92/3 muffler and not E90?

Looks like you might have E90 Sedan tips. Any photos of the exhaust?

The tips are welded in place. Eisenmann builds the E92/93 at the same length and the E90 M3 sedan tips are a little shorter.

There's a plate welded on the muffler if I'm not mistaken, that specifies which model it's for.

You just need to loosen the exhaust and push it to the back of the car. There's quite a bit of adjustment to be had. Like I said, in my pics, the exhaust is pushed all the way to the back of the car.

You want to do this with a lift. I'd just take it to an Exhaust shop and tell them that you want the tips further back and give them $100, doing these adjustments with one person on your back is a pain in the ass.

The exhaust is already on, it's really not that difficult. It'd be easier to do with 2 people obviously. You just have to loosen a couple of bolts, and the clamps. I had my friend under the car and he was pushing the exhaust, then tightened it. I was overseeing the operation from afar

He's in to lifting, so I was like go for it, it's a win win. I stayed back to make sure the exhaust was level haha

EAS sent us a closeup photo of the tips and they have been modified to fit an E90 sedan. This modification was done by a previous owner.

WAIT A MINUTE. IND is saying this exhaust was modified? Here are pics of the exhaust from the OPs ad. Where do we see new welding around the tips? Because I dont.
If the exhaust states its E92/E93 on the welded tag, and its NOT modified, then I think Eisenmann might need to talk a look at this. If the welds are not shown in the pic, then perhaps the OP is lying and sold this exhaust with he knowledge it was NOT meant for a E92, So what is the REAL scoop? Because I know the guy who bought this exhaust and it appears TEDDY screwed him. If its E92, the tips would stick out MUCH further. I know, I had one and without a diffuser, it looked ugly to me.
