Buttonwillow 2013-10-19 + AiM Solo + Dashware
This is my third visit to Buttonwillow and the first time using the Solo & Dashware. The video exploits all of the cool things that you can do with the AiM Solo DL coupled with homegrown Dashware custom gauges.
Constructive criticism is encouraged, keep in mind that I just started tracking a couple of months ago. Updated Video... Changes & Additions for...
Original Video

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Very nice quality video, sure beats my Iphone. haha Can't wait to get the Solo DL myself. Anyhow, you can carry some more speed into turn 1 (sunrise) and brake a little later. Don't brake going towards the Truck Stop right turn, just modulate your throttle. On Riverside, start 3/4 outside and go 1/2 in and then go towards the apex....you'll be able to carry more speed versus hugging the inside. I see you a sub 2:10 lap time in your next BW event.

Very nice. Where do you have go pro mounted? I use the mounting rod on the passenger seat headrest posts with 1080 in narrow mode, but I am seeing too much in cabin footage. You must have it mounted further toward the window.

Camera is mounted using the GoPro suction mount upside down. I can barely see it in the car and it's easy to reach over and turn it off and on. As you can see its pretty much at eye level in the car.

Love the layout and data collection. Seems like the track bug's got you now!

Actually, the graphic for the steering wheel came from your website. Somebody stop me I added Air Temp to the cluster and made a Solo DL gauge for kicks.
