VAC 4.4 Stroker Dyno Results
One of our clients in Europe picked up our 4.4 stroker kit a few weeks ago and quickly built an engine to hit the track. It was tuned with Pectel, just like the previously posted 4.4L S65 we built here at VAC. I should have another dyno sheet coming soon with more range. LOVE the S65....
As always, we have 4.4L stroker cranks in stock

So its about 580 Crank Horsepower @ 8250 rpm.. plus u have to run a compression ratio of 13.5:1 (race gas) and aftermarket ecu to get that. I would like to see some results that we can expect for a street stroker.

With cams I suspect this engine will make 600hp. We may find out soon ;-)
The BMW M2 GTS 4.4L makes 444hp. The Dinan 'street' 4.6L makes 525hp.

1) The 2 aforementioned cars.....what octane gas were they using to get those numbers? and 2) How do you think the VAC kit will do on 93 octane? I would ask about E85, but I feel that that might be an unreal expectation. |

2. We have only built and supplied track/race engines. Our 'kit' consists of a crankshaft, connecting rods and pistons. You can choose a street friendly CR if you wish Quote:
