You know there is a LRP in manual at autotrader. Here a link of the car at a BMW dealer. You can save your 5k on special paint and get this.

OP: He's right about one thing, there are 6 speed LRE out there. There was a thread with another member who had leads on a couple at invoice. You definitely need to look it up. Good luck with the search

^^ Thanks bud. Yeah I'm doing some research, might have a decision today. Also, I've heard different things from different people, but some are claiming BMW says you can't order fire orange anymore since that would lessen the LRE's value. Seems plausible to me.

^ Well, I'm telling you.
I just read on the forum that a member found a couple LRE's at Invoice, not even MSRP, let alone a mark up. The fact is the car on the above link only doesn't even appear to have any options on it. I think the MSRP for the LRE was around $73k, and this dealership is asking $79k

yeah they really are...sucks. Pretty soon they will be completely phased out, so figured I'd give it one more go around. Thanks for the posts.

I put down $1000 when I ordered. The form states that a deposit must be made, iirc. But this is a form to actually get the order scheduled. If you just want to know if a color is available, maybe that's a different route. When my dealer and I "asked," the answer was a production number. It actually caught me by surprise, and I had to ask for a new date. My car was done a month before I picked it up.
