GTR is a glorified point and shoot car. The M3 is a close second. You wanna learn driving? Get a base miata or a lotus with no ABS..that should set your egos on fire.
That being said-Congrats OP! It's hell of an engineering exercise and a definite keeper. |

Don't get me wrong, the Nissan GT-R is an awesome feat of automotive engineering, but a friend of mine that owns one refuses to park near any Chevy Cobalts!

Man...so tempted to sell my M3 and get a GT-R. The press release from Nissan Japan is suppose to be released Nov 2nd to give all the details on the 2014 Godzilla. If its a big improvement ill wait. But if it isn't then I might be getting a GT-R sooner rather than later.

Yeah, when I mean a lot of changes, I meant mainly in HP. If they bump it up to 560 HP, and they don't increase MSRP by that much, then waiting for the 2014 is the smart thing rather then getting a 2013 now.
The re-design should be the 2015 or even 2016 model. |

Nice wheels! Congratulations.
Funny story though. I swapped parking spaces at my house between my M3 and the GTR. The GTR is now parked in the tighter space, where I have to reverse in a tight S to back out of the gate. I can do it in one move easily with the M3. Couldn't do it in one move with the GTR even with the backup camera. Kinda says a lot about the relative sizes when reversing! Not that this is important, but it was annoying enough that I will be reswapping them. Huge fan of both though (obviously). |

Nice car.
I wish they did something with the front that would match with the aggressiveness of the rear. Still a good looking car- better in real life than in pictures. ENJOY !

Wow, it is the car from SC. I was there to check out a super slightly use M3 and I saw that car. But I also saw them trashing a GTR during one of there Mitsubishi events. I hope it's not that same one. lol. Anyway those guys are great, they give you good deals.

Is that bad thing? Lol.
But seriously, the interior fit and finish is a bit lackluster for a car in that price range. Otherwise, the car is a beast and tons of fun to drive. I kind of wish I had AWD on days like today. I'm driving around town like an old lady; though I probably should have switched to winter rubber already...

That's good to hear. It needs it. True about the Vettes and Vipers. Maybe GM has stepped things up recently...

That new Viper is a beast. I think theres a link to it on the forums.
That machine is the endgame. Whats crazy is that, if i recall, the interior is MUCH nicer. Havent heard the same about the vette. |
