Had my X5 in for service last week and they gave me a brand new 528xi well optioned as my loaner. It had 21 km on it when I picked it up. It was like having a new car for a day! Pretty sweet and when you get that little 4-cyl turbo revved up it sounds amazing (like an old E30 almost). Just strange to hear those sounds from a 5-series.

Curious if anyone has the done the lci tailight upgrade.

I did it, with the new way they are getting coded, you don't need to change your frm.

Ideally between 50-55k, I'd prefer a 6MT but won't say no to a DCT.

As for that car on kijiji, I think you could do a lot worse especially since the car still has warranty on it. If you can live with no Idrive I'd check it out plus its a Canadian car with edc. Personally I think prices are over inflated in Alberta and would look in BC instead. Last edited by Apex Carver; 11-12-2012 at 03:56 PM.. |

I would try to get an M3 with iDrive. You pretty much control everything from there. Also if I were you, I would make sure to buy an M3 under warranty or a CPO one. If you are okay not to have iDrive, the M3 in this link is a pretty decent deal. Good luck!

Yeah that's what I've noticed. The prices in the US are eye catching considering the dollar is at par, too bad there are sometimes issues with warranty. I'll just keep on looking for a Canadian one.
