22'' ADV10TS wheels cracked from the inside out!

like that title says! I pick these wheels up from Pyspeed! I ordered these wheels for my friend's Cayenne TechArt widebody. After about 8-9month of day care driving he sent me these pictures because his wheel was consistant losing air while driving on the highway during CNY. He was very upset because he put his kids life and his family's life at stake.

So I contacted Pyspeed like as ways Eric was very helpful but and got ADV to replace the broken part. ADV replied a 3 weeks replacement, now it has been 5 weeks and no tracking no. what so ever and all I know is ''its being finished''

the point is that the wheels are NOT up to quality standards and has put LIFE at risk! yes action has been taken which are seeing delays for something that should have been handled in 7-10 days.

here are some photos

Well, it is a cast wheel so it won't be as strong as a nicely forged wheel.

I had always heard they were cast. If not, then my mistake. If a forged wheel broke like that, I would be even more worried.

I feel ya - as a father; it is upsetting to see something of this nature. The risk goes way beyond broken car parts when children's safety is @ stake.

It would be one thing if the wheels were cheap to purchase - I'm pretty sure they were not priced @ $100 a piece...

My guess is that only the face is truly forged but not the lip or barrel which is what failed here. I would remove those wheels from the car ASAP and contact a attorney to get a full refund plus any damages.

yes I myself is also a father of 2 so I understand his point! I just feel bad he had to deal with this situation and facing delays on replacement parts! makes you wonder if they care or not

This is the first failure I've seen to be fair and I've been here since they started. Most of the "beef" with ADV1 is related Jordan being associated with the the 360forged fiasco; although they claim to have resolved all issues with the relevant parties.

That sucks Eugene, personally I would never put those back on my car again no matter how good they look. I understand sometime shit happens but what the company react afterwards really distinguish one from the other, my buddy just had similar problem on his widebody M3's wheels, HOWEVER, the company responsed and got the problem resolved PROMTLY, What a comparison! Hopefully everything works out for your friend soon !

x1000; waaaaay too many "new" wheel brands popping up w/ RIDICULOUS pricing for substandard wheels... Shit just look at any Dupont registry. Everyone and their mother is making wheels now!

What was their explanation of the failure? I mean, they didn't just say "we'll replace them" right? Surely the owner wants to know what the cause of this failure was, and why he won't experience them on the next set...
