Installed my KW Sleeve Kit!
Color me impressed.
Now let me first say that I had H&R springs on my IB M3 which in my opinion were very harsh and felt that I lost good amount of handling going from stock to that setup. Since H&R bothered me so much I then switched to Eibach Springs with e36 bump stops which were a vast improvement. Granted I lost the ride height that I wanted. Now I am in a SSII M3 and wanted to try something that seemed to get a lot of great feedback on the forums. I had IND order me a set of the KW Sleeve over kit and they recently arrived! The kit itself seems really well put together thus far. The height adjusters fit really well on the factory shocks, and there’s a good amount of height adjustment if I am not happy where it sits currently. I really like that the kit comes with new bumpstops too, because I think that goes a long way to giving the car a good ride, instead of feeling like the car with cut springs you had when you were 17. I am simply amazed by this setup. I am at max low currently in front and still have room in the rear to go lower. However the ride comfort is stellar and feels as if it rides smoother than any other setup I have had. No wonder so many people praise this setup! Few install pictures. Installed! Will try to take some better pictures soon. Ignore the 18inch winter wheels.

Still not low enough IMO. Thats why I passed on these for a full suspension. The front height I want you just can't achieve with these.
Car looks good.

Looks fantastic!
I think you just convinced me to get it as well. I see that your trying to get some BBS FI resemblance going on there with your winter wheels haha. This is the only other color that I was thinking of getting when getting mine and it does look great, hmmm. Do you have to put your EDC in normal all the time? I hear some people tend to do that, but I am guessing it's because they are at the max low. |

Looks very nice. Good work on the install, and glad you like the new set-up. Take me for a ride in that E90 M3 of yours?!

My old M3 had EDC but this one does not. So I just leave it in awesome mode all the time now. Quote:

Lookin good Jesal
Trust me, your winter 18s look MUCH better than what we got on the E90...our offsets are so whack. How low does the sleeve kit lower the front?

Crazy Bimmer: Can you post a close up shot of the front wheel gap?

That's the beauty of this kit. You can dial in a functional performance drop or go stupid low & scrap on shadows. I am pretty much in the middle of my adjustment points.

Looks good, but how much travel have you lost?
Surely it will bottom out on anything but the smoothest roads without changing to shorter dampers |
