installation cost for GC suspension kit

I just bought a Ground Control Suspension Kit and need to have it installed, I am checking with several shops in my area (South Florida), so far I got one quote at $540, is this a reasonable price for such installation? seems to me a bit expensive, any feedback will be greatly appreciated

I'm not sure what you have. If it is a complete coilover suspension, and that price includes alignment and corner balancing, it is a bargain.

if it's 540 just for the GC Spring install, it's high

if it includes corner balancing and alignment... that's a good rate

The kit comes with:

No corner balancing or alignment was included in the proposal

so its the sleeve over kit that uses stock suspension components. check with frenchboy he has the GC sleeve over on his car.

540 is to high then

They're charging you M tax :P

I paid $250 for a full coilover install from a well known shop around me.

that sounds like a pretty damn good price.

It's probably a fair deal. My advice, be guided much more by experience and competence. This is not something to be done by the lowest cost provider.

Suspension affects how the vehicle safely operates and therefore would be sure about the choice of shop.

I agree with both of you, I rather be safe than saving a few bucks, I just wanted to check if the received estimate was within a normal cost for this job

Its not too bad but much more than we would charge. They should at least be doing your ride height adjustment for that cost..

THIS.... FULL COILOVER OR SPRING... should be just around the same price...
