What do you use to dry your car?
Ive seen a bunch of 4 year old threads where people swear by the "Waffle" microfiber towel. Well not that its 2014 what are you guys using to dry your pride and joy's off?

I use a CR Spotless. It has been nothing short of amazing especially since the water in my neck of the woods is in the 280 TDS range.
I use a miniature leaf blower and follow up with a few waffle microfiber towels from Chemical Guys. Blower (same thing can be found cheaper on Amazon): http://www.chemicalguys.com/Chemical..._p/acc_303.htm Towel: http://www.chemicalguys.com/Chemical...mic_781_01.htm I found my like new CR Spotless on Craigslist. Got the DIC-20 rolling system, with the canvas cover, lead free hose with CR spotless nozzle, 2 extra bags of DI resin, and a full unused cartridge for $350. |

Indeed. Leaf blower ftw. It's loud, but whatever.

this was great lead. thanks for the post. i was looking for a cheaper alternative to the master blaster, and yet not a leaf blower. this looks like it could be in-between that. what's the noise level like? or is this just a repainted leaf blower? |

It can be loud in a confined space like a smaller 2 car garage, so I usually wear my earbuds and listen to music while I am drying. I mainly use it for areas of the car where water might hide such as seams and window molding because the wind is so focused; opening is only about an inch wide. Don't expect to dry your entire car with it, use a full size leaf blower instead. |
