Use search. Ppl here will probably say that is the most common tire size increase and depending on make of tire, it doesnt rub. Stick with michelin and your good to go.

Thanks for the replies. I think there 35... On holiday ATM. So is there a noticeable amount of grip from the new setup? Mostly rains here in Scotland..

OEM ZCP from the factory is a 245/35/19 and 265/35/19. A lot of us upgrade to either a 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 or 285/30/19 in the rear. Issue is if you are stuck on a Mich. PSS you are probably going to end up with a 275/35/19.

255/275 is what I'm shooting for when I get my set of PSS bought from tire rack.
I think there's a promo right now for getting a 70 dollar prepaid master card if you buy a set of four.

They fit fine. I prefer stock size PSS's on the street though. They're more rewarding in the handling/feel dept for me. I tried the +1 and went back to stock for that little extra sharpness/torque...not as beefy looking but that's not my priority.

Currently running 245/35/19 and 265/35/19 Michelin PS2 and they looked stretched on the ZCP wheels.... I hate how it looks!
I find the Michelin PS2 run narrow compared to other brands. How about the new Michelin PSS? Will running 255/275 Michelin PSS still looked stretched? I want them flushed/same width as the rim. |

If they made pss in 285 I would be all over that. The Toyo t1 sport and the Conti 5P are both great tires, couple guys have run them with great reviews on here. I am running 295/30 now. I know it is not the best setup for a 10" wheel but Michelin approves the 295 on a 10" wheel. For ultimate performance the 10.5 would be better (or 11) but anyone driving to the point on the street where they can tell the difference in .5" of wheel width probably shouldnt be driving like that on the street.
The conti for the mercedes front axel is 11.1" tread width. That is wider than most 295 on the market, except ad08 and PSS. If you believe the numbers the front axel 285 is wider than the rear axel 285. I just cant bring myself to pay almost $800 for 2 rear conti tires.

I am on Eibach and 5mm spacers is all I can do with zcp. If I go 10 or 12 is rubs even with that plastic liner bump cut off. I made the sacrifice to run the 295 just because it is a Michelin. Where I commute our roads kind of suck too. I am worried the 285 is so thin it will make the ride even rougher, maybe not but it is something I thought about.

So I can't run 10mm but I can run 5mm? Maybe I should send my 12.5s back and get 5s all around. I have not opened them yet.... I am running stock tire sizes right now though. |
