New sketches of the 7-series successor

These brand new sketches seem to be inline with the media rumors that the next 7-series, which has been spied in heavy body clad form driving around germany, to follow many of the design themes of the recent BMW Concept CS. The car will share a similar face to that car, the body does remain more inline with the current 7-series, in order to maintain the optimum passenger comfort and visibility.

That looks like a mangled mix of the e90, e92, CS concept and current 7 series through the pencil of a 17 yr old

I hope they keep to the "exhaust pipes hidden" theme that they have always had and not follow MB's show the exhaust pipes theme. I think the 7 is supposed ot be a classy, clean understated car. Would hate to see them turn it into some racer like our 3-series.

Yeah, that's not gonna happen.

Munich has already separately confirmed the CS for production so the 7 doesn't need a "CS" look. Also, the latest images from renowned Hans Lehmann images show a car with a more conservative look-basically a toned down version of the current car...........

The large grills concept goes contrary to the traditional understated design themes of past. Might look good on a ram tough Dodge though.

it looks good, but this wont happen. its just too sport oriented for a 7er. it wouldnt be true to its heritage.

albeit, i would love to see somehting like this, but it would be too contradictive to the CS. i cant see this happening.

however, id o have a high hope that BMW will still create a beautiful car that will wow -- or at least meet our standards. i just pray the the 7er SHITS all over the S class.

All I can say is that this concept needs the same plastic surgeon Michael Jackson had. Gotta pinch them nostrils; make them smaller.

it looks cheap. the shape is too curvy and not enough testosterone. the other model, yet smooth and curvy, had strong lines that represented the bmw blood line.
