Issues w/ KW Clubsports - Need Input
Just this weekend, I installed the KW Clubsport coilovers on my M3. When I lowered the car, they will not go as low in the fronts as the rears do. The fronts with the adjustable collar on the lowest thread with no more room to go only lowers the car till the fender sit on the tire with one finger for a gap. The rears on the other had have 3/4 of the way to go before they become maxed on how much it will lower. What gives with my fronts??? Thanks!

You still have a finger gap up front?
Mine aren't even maxed out up front and I can't even fit a finger in the fender.

Was the bottom of the strut installed fully into the lower control arm adapter?

The kit came with the front coils already assembled out of the box and came with camber plates. The image below is what it looks like but the adjustable collar is now maxed out and to the very bottom with no thread showing.

Can you take a photo of the bottom most part of the strut where it meets the control arm from the top.
And also from the bottom so I can see how far the strut pokes out from the collar.

Agree report back with a picture, if you can get a part number on the springs maybe a vendor can chime in.
Here is how low mine sits and i could still go a bit lower

My ride height is similar to this and I can go lower as well.

Heres a random guess. The KWs sit in the front hubs. If you did not make sure that the strut was all the way into the hub before tightening the bolt then you may have added extra height. Its been a while but I think I used my jack under the hub to make sure the strut was fully seated before bolting anything tight.
Another possibility is how you have the camber plates oriented. Something worth checking. Jason
