Cost to install
Folks,
I'm interested in picking up a used stage 1 Dinan suspension from a forum member and am curious what is a reasonable cost to install? Looks like springs and mounts only. Dinan claims 7.5 labor hours, but that sounds conservative. Let me know what you guys have experienced. Has anyone installed themselves?

That's nuts! It's just springs! I didn't pay anywhere near that for EAS to install my KW sleeve kit. It was about $300 then I paid $90 for an alignment.
This is even easier and should be less. 7.5 hours is outrageous!

7.5 hours is a bit excessive. We charge $250 (for e9x M3) for spring installation and $125 for alignment for what it's worth. Hope that helps you!

If it's just springs only, 3-4 hours is what the industry standard is, but shop rate can vary from $75 to $150 an hour depend on where you live. |
