First time visiting manhattan next month. Looking for recommendations as to where to eat and night life. Looking for classy dinner restaurants, hole in the wall good food restaurants, bars, lounges, and clubs. Thanks in advance.

Stanton Social is a fun place to eat/drink. It's all sharing food and nice decor. Need to make reservation in advance.
Ipuddo for best ramen, try to go during off hours otherwise expect to wait. Meatball Shop is good and cheap. Jane is my brunch recommendation - especially if you like eggs benny. Waffles & Dinges food truck is good for some dessert if you can track it down its location Standard Hotel has rooftop or outdoor area on ground floor (might be too cold when you get here), Gansevoort Hotel also has a nice rooftop...but expect to pay $15/drink Haven't gone clubbing for a while so no good rec's there...unless you're asian and want to checkout Circle lol...actually you should also be Korean for that matter.

Thanks guys. Will definitely be checking out those places. Trying to make the most of my trip. Won't be sleeping too much. 😄 Don't mind the cold just as long as it doesn't rain.

funny how you suggested these spots at 6:15am...LOL OP, Daniel on the upper east side if you want good and fancy ($$$). Most of the good places are mentioned already. Peter Lugers in Brooklyn if you want to visit an iconic steak house. |

I agree Daniel is very good.... Peter Lugers I felt was more the name than food... I was not so impressed when I went... but if you can get the Rallye card and treat I will try again! Sparks on 46th is a great steakhouse as well!

If you want to go high-end sushi, try Ichimura at Brushstroke (this is not the same as the main room in Brushstroke). I wasn't a fan of Daniel but if you want to go very high-end then you could always try Per Se or Eleven Madison Park. Brunch at the NoMad was great too. If you're into great drinks, try out Little Branch or Death and Co. Have a lot more recommendations if you give specifics on what you're looking for. |

+1 for Peter Lugar's... One of my favorite steak places and would fly from socal for it
( a good tip for Peter Lugars is to show up 15 min before they open for lunch if you cant get a reservation) 2nd favorite is Del Frisco's in Vegas as far as steaks go My wife and I also enjoy going to Joe's Shanghai for soup dumplings... Been to Din Tai Fungs out in socal as well as other hole in the wall places and none compare to Joe's Shanghai |

from cali...hmm
you first need to drop by Shake Shack, make a comparison to In-N-Out, and see which is better! Party Wise, Almost everywhere in meat-packing is great. But while you're here, why not head up to Le Bain at the Standard? Some more chill party spots like Slate. Fist pump with a bunch of EDM nuts at Santos Party House. Steak: STK or BLT Steakhouse. Brunch: Please do not go to Clinton Street Baking company, long wait, nothing special. As mentioned above, Jane is not bad, sometimes a long wait. One of my all-time faves in manhattan is Brunch at TheNoMad at the NoMad hotel. The chicken sandwich there is amazing. Romantic Dinner with the lady: Abe & Arthur's. Expensive, but sweet place. Gramercy Tavern is good, maybe harder to get a spot. Park Avenue Autumn is a nice place, great good, amazing service. Japanese: I somehow still love Morimoto. Hole in the wall snack: Pommes Frites. I haven't been there in ages, but fries and a shit load of sauces for you to select from! Coffee: Grace Street in Korea Town, they use Toby's Estate, which is awesome! La Columb and Gasoline Alley Coffee in SoHo. Pre-dinner romantic drink's spot: Angel's Share or Raine's Law Room. Angel Share is kinda hard to find, it's INSIDE a restaurant. Dessert: Fuck dessert, go get more drinks and party.

When I visit NYC, I always make sure I go for a run at Central Park every morning I am there... always at a different section of the park. It's one of my favorite places in the world.
Been a couple years since I've been there this thread made me miss it a ton.
