Eibach Pro-Kit Installed
First off, thanks a TON to Tony at Eibach for sponsoring my car and hooking me up with this Eibach Pro Kit!
I found some time this sunny July 4th to install a set of Eibach Pro-Kit Coils Springs on my 2013 M3. I used the Forum DIY and it ended up taking about 3 hours all total. The technique of not removing the strut assembly in the front saves a good amount of time. I also installed a set of RS Technik 15mm/12mm spacers. The results: Pretty much the exact stance I was hoping for, the front still sits slightly high but I fully anticipate the car to settle into a perfect stance in a week or so. The ride comfort is honestly not changed IMO, the car feels solid yet smooth over bumps, its not harsh in any way. I've yet to really push the car around some twisties but will update when I do on how the car feels and has improved. Overall I'm very satisfied with the Eibach Pro-Kit from the ease of install to the ride quality to the stance. But I'll let you decide based upon these before and after pictures, enjoy! BEFORE: AFTER:

I agree, I've had them on my past 3 BMWs without any issues and loved the stance/ride they provided.

I did the exact same thing this weekend. I had my girlfriend helping out. We took our time and also used the DIY on here. IMO no change in ride quality. I think the drop is perfect. I've used Eibach on almost ever car I've lowered and their product is top shelf. Nice pics BTW.

One day, when my track skills improve...the car is well beyond my capability to yield currently. I looked for a headlight leveling sensor and didn't see one...my car is non-premium so I assumed I don't even have the feature...I haven't noticed any difference in the headlights either.

once the suspension starts to feel slow and floaty to you its time. like your waiting for it to take a set so you can do whats needed.

Ah ok. Then +1 to you for not having to deal with that. I have to find out how to fool the sensor now. |

The car looks great, Curt!
The Pro-Kit on these cars works very well with the stock dampers. Lots of E90/E92 track guys out here use just the Pro-Kit with great results (the fast guys). |
